i don’t know how many times i need to say how much i love LOVE love having an actual space to work at home.
it’s an amazing productivity boost. can you see how many blog posts i’m busting out? i swear though, i do other things too!
i mentioned that the desk we spent a month refinishing did not make it up the stairs in this old house. but, we were able to sell the desk on craigslist to a nice family and decided to go more minimalist ourselves. [insert small sigh and just a few tears].
the desks are made from separate top and legs from Ikea ($85 each) and the chairs ($20 each) and file cabinets ($30 each) are from UW Swap Shop. total furniture cost for both of us: $270. not bad, huh?
we painted the walls sage gray and mixed and matched random framed pieces from various sources. my favorite words of wisdom are proudly displayed above my desk.
