Nine months seems like an awful long time to get a room together.
And I am not typically a procrastinator, but for some reason, I took my sweet time finishing the nursery. But here it is, all the final touches have been put on, and now we can just wait and see if the baby approves of our eclectic taste.
The space is small and cozy. It gets a ton of light throughout the day which I love. Almost all the furniture in the nursery is rehabbed, either from something we already had, from Craigslist, a friend, or a thrift shop. The decorations in the room came from all over the place – some vintage pieces, some from local shops in the Madison area, some from other parts of our home.
The curtains and the upholstery on the glider were both DIY projects. Check out what the glider looked before we got our hands on it.
And then there is the dresser we upgraded earlier this winter. It went from a massive eye sore to this lovely piece.
