We are looking for a social media/marketing intern who is passionate about food that can help grow Whisk, a collective of Wisconsin-based food bloggers. In addition to Whisk, this person would also support the two founders’ blogs: Wisconsin From Scratch and Things I Made Today.

Intern responsibilities for founder’s blogs:
- Manage social media feeds by engaging with other foodies/bloggers, posting blog content, and researching and posting other content audiences would enjoy.
- Manage syndicate accounts (Foodgawker, Tastespotting, Food52, etc.) by reposting blog content and looking for other opportunities to engage with audiences. Research other opportunities to syndicate content.
- Research and help coordinate guest blogging opportunities with other food blogs.

- Are interested in marketing, blogs, and social media

A Little More Info
We’re looking for an intern for the summer + fall semester with the potential to stay on through the spring semester (or more!). The internship requires about 5 hours of work per week. Hours are completely flexible, with the exception of a recurring bi-weekly meeting (we can work around your class schedule). Most communication is handled via Trello, email, and video chat. This is an unpaid internship, so we’re looking for people interested in building their portfolios/resumes by making an impact on small local brands. There are also opportunities (if interested) to get more involved with the brands, including participating in content creation, photography, or web-design.
How To Apply
Go to this form and:
- Fill out your contact information
- Upload a Cover Letter
- Upload your resume
- Pick your favorite recipe from Things I Made Today and Wisconsin From Scratch and compose three tweets for each promoting the recipe in each brand’s unique voice.
Applications will be accepted until May 19. Please send any questions to vicky@thingsimadetoday.com.
