it’s nice to finally have a master bedroom without boxes on the floor and blank walls.
last week, we painted the room a nice deep green (which took two coats and a reluctant trip back to home depot for an extra quart).
our old bedroom had much lighter color walls, but since we get so much light in our new house we could pull off a darker wall color.
we’ve also done a lot to repurpose furniture in our new home. our master bedroom comforter is from our old guest room and our yellow chair used to be in our living room.
it feels like a new room and we didn’t even have to buy anything. fun trick.
we are slowly making progress on our projects:
paint room- buy a second nightstand so it looks more even (we never had room for two before)
- buy a new pot for that plant on the dresser
hang stuff on the walls
