We’re in that part of the season where the greens are still plentiful but the purples, reds, oranges, and yellows start dominating.
This is my happy place—with eggplants, tomatoes, corn, and bell peppers all at their prime. The good news is we got all these beauties in this week’s CSA basket. The bad news is that I’m out of town for the next week, which means I’m leaving most of it behind for Jason and Theo. Will they treat it right? Fingers crossed yes.
